About Roland
Roland has 30 years of experience in consulting, program management and integrated risk management. As consultant and director in the energy sector (e.g. CRO at Essent) and multiple other industries, he has designed and steered risk management processes and systems towards supporting high-quality business decisions. He is passionate about translating the usual definition of risk management (threats, vulnerabilities, volatility) towards opportunities and strategic decisionmaking.
After 10 year of dedicated risk management, Roland has stepped into the (high-risk, high-reward) area of eMobility and founded his own consultancy, supporting clients in the Netherlands, Europe, the Caribbean, Latin-America and Africa. With his work on the design of new market models and architectures around eMobility, and the introduction of policies, standards, tools and systems, his training in risk ownership and reward systems is of critical value.
His commitment to Dekunova as founder, investor and strategic advisor closes the circle: Integrated Risk Management, applied in a business-savvy way to help businesses improve and expand.
