About Jonathan
As a GRC Consultant at Dekunova, Jonathan translates functional requirements into technical solutions that actually hold up in ServiceNow IRM. He doesn't just take requirements at face value. He challenges them where needed, making sure what gets built solves the real problem rather than the first version of it. He works across the technical layer of the platform: business rules, script includes, transform maps, ACLs and UI policies that turn a functional design into something that runs reliably in practice. From configuring access control on GRC records to building data load logic that connects risks, controls and issues correctly, he makes sure the underlying logic keeps working as the platform and the organization around it evolve.
What drives me?
"For every problem I run into, I want to find a solution and I want to understand why it happened in the first place. A quick fix that papers over the actual cause tends to come back later, usually at a worse moment. So I'd rather take the time to trace an issue back to where it really starts, whether that's in the configuration, the data, or how a process was set up, and fix it there.
I get the most satisfaction out of doing that together with a good team, not figuring it out alone. And what motivates me longer-term is seeing a company genuinely grow in its GRC maturity, watching a process go from something that technically exists on paper to something the organization actually relies on and trusts."
