As a GRC Consultant at Dekunova, Francisco makes sure that policies on paper actually work in the system. From automatically assigning owners and triggering approvals to maintaining a complete audit trail, making sure the right things happen, every time.
He works on the technical layer behind the configuration users ultimately interact with. Using business rules, decision tables, Flow Designer, ACLs and transform maps, he helps ensure that processes do not just work well in a demo, but continue to perform when they meet real users and real data.
What drives me?
“Too many GRC solutions look fully compliant during a demo, but start running into problems as soon as people actually begin using them. A rule that only works for certain roles, a field that is not properly validated, or an integration that quietly stops working after a platform upgrade.
I like to understand where a problem is really coming from before I fix it. That could be a dot-walk that fails, a scope conflict after an upgrade, or a setting that nobody remembers changing. What initially looks like a small bug is often a sign of a bigger gap in how the process was designed. Closing that gap properly matters more to me than simply delivering something quickly.
For me, the value is in handing over a system that keeps doing its job without anyone having to constantly think about it. And in being part of a team that looks at it the same way, not just focusing on the go-live date.”
